Hi, I'm Alison Pidgeon, Business Consultant for Practice of the Practice.
In 2015 I quit my full time job as the director of an outpatient community mental health clinic to start my own solo private practice. Within a few months I formed a group practice, Move Forward Counseling LLC, and it was the best decision I ever made!
Now I have 12 therapists who work for my practice in 2 locations. The practice is mostly insurance based with some self-pay clients. I have a clinical director and a virtual assistant who manage the day to day operations of the practice which frees up my time to work as a business consultant.
In 2018 I bought an office building, renovated it, and we opened our doors in March 2019. With this expansion we are on track to gross almost three quarters of a million dollars in 2019!
I love helping other practice owners move from running a solo to a group practice. I have put all of my resources together I use in my own practice and all of the common questions I have been asked about running a group practice into the trainings in this e-course. I want to walk you through the process step-by-step so you can be successful, too!

How do the consulting calls work?
The six 90 minute consulting calls will consist of large, group calls including 24 members and will take place on the last Thursday of the month at 7pm EST.
